I would just like to say a big thank you to Kate Hughes and her team . My son has autism and learning difficulties and I was very worried about how he would cope at Trentham High.
Mrs Hughes and her team have proved over the last 5 years that they are a dedicated, caring, and enthusiastic team. They have ensured that my son and the children in their care have received individual support and guidance in a comfortable environment, to ensure that they feel safe, understood
and supported in their school life.

I know that I can ring the learning centre during school hours and always speak to Mrs Hughes or a member of her team with any concerns or questions. This service is so valuable to me as a parent knowing that I can speak to someone who knows and understands my son’s needs. Mrs Hughes and her team work really hard to support the children, not only with academic studies but also to ensure that they receive an all round education that will help them to move on to college and promote their independence.
Mrs Hughes and her team are a valuable asset to the school and I wish them continuing success with the children in their care.

I’m just writing to show my appreciation for the time and effort given by the learning support team while A has been at Trentham High School.
He has been very well cared for by learning support team through out his time at Trentham High School, even when he had been knocked down and was in a wheel chair for three weeks; nothing was too much trouble.
We have seen A mature into a well mannered young man; this I’m sure is partly because of the mentoring that has taken place at the school. Not only has A felt supported but the family as well. Thanking you once again.
