HOW MANY TRIANGLES?
There are 12 ‘small’ triangles, 6 ‘medium’ triangles (made up of four small ones) and 2 ‘large’ triangles (made up of nine small ones), making a total of 20 triangles.
To calculate the number in the centre, and the two numbers in the bottom corners and divide by the top number. 14+6=20 and 20÷4=5 so the missing number is 5.
HOW MANY RECTANGLES?
This one is very tricky. There are a total of 26 rectangles, most of them hidden. Did you find them all?
