The Mathematics Department are very proud of the progress that Year 7 students have made this year which has been evidenced in the recent GL assessments.
The data from these assessments has been summarised below and it clearly shows that our Year 7 students are now above national average on all curriculum areas in mathematics. The Standardised Age Score has also changed. If the Standardised Age Score (SAS) remained the same this would indicate expected progress had been made in line with progress nationally. However, the Standardised Age Score for our cohort has increased indicating accelerated progress has been made compared to progress nationally.
