Super Curricular Activities
At Trentham High School we aim to deliver a number of opportunities to provide stretch and challenge for our higher attaining students. We have a group of Lead Learners who are invited to participate in a variety of super-curricular activities. The purpose is to inspire the students to broaden their interests and ignite their passion for learning. These include:
Aspiration days organised by Oxford and Cambridge Universities; Astrophysics at Keele University; Maths Challenges; visiting the sixth form colleges to attend seminars given by visiting lecturers; Russian; the Raspberry Pi club; BBC School Report; the UKMT Maths Challenge; the Salters Challenge; the Creative Writing and Youth Speaks competitions; the Biology Challenge; the Cipher Challenge.
