Well done to Year 10 students who took part in a STEM Challenge on our recent SPARK day. Nigel from Young Engineers challenged students to design a vehicle that would firstly move across the water smoothly by propellors and then allow for a remotely operated vehicle to be hoisted into and out of the water with minimal human interaction. These photos show the three winning boat designs!
Students also had to produce an aerodynamic electric powered car that would travel the fastest. Although there was some difficulty in ensuring the cars would travel in a straight line, these 5 cars made it to the final. Can the rest of Year 10 do even better on the next SPARK day?
